Charged me for a service they did not do. I don’t think they realize if I leave they have committed theft. But they didn’t forget to charge me for it (payment receipt time is well before inspection printout time). After advisor talks to tech he asks for my keys. And while you’re at it I need the inspection printout that’s supposed to accompany the sticker. They swear up and down he just forgot to change it. As soon as I sit in car I notice the old inspection sticker. Anyway ssdd, sit wait, maybe 2 hours with only 2 other ppl there. By the way there is NO EXPRESS OIL CHANGE. Went in for oil change, tire rotation, and state inspection. After that incident I gave benefit of doubt. I emailed the service manager about the incident and was given free oil changes. Come back out to say sorry they must have missed it, doing a lot of work, think inspecting your brakes threw him off. Went back in and spoke with a service advisor. After “service” and payment, went out to car got down on my belly and checked. My initials on one side, wife’s on other. I suspected it so before one oil change and tire rotation on wife’s vehicle I checked the oil and initialed the tires with chalk. Before I caught them charging me for a service they didn’t do. I also have emails and voicemails as proof of anything I’ve said. Against my better judgement (and with wife’s insistence) I went back here. PROVE IT! This isn’t the first bad interaction I have had with this dealer. All I get is a bunch of people saying “new cars are sold with new tires”. Ask Thruway if the tires were new at time of purchase and can they show proof. They ask me to submit proof the tires came with the vehicle and that they were new. Have always known tires to give 70-80k mile tread wear warranties. I’ve purchased plenty of vehicles and tires in my lifetime. Waste of $1000 (currently filing cancellation paperwork hopefully for a prorated refund). Covers absolutely nothing the average driver would encounter. The finance manager hailed it as a great purchase you would be happy to have when you need it. I had purchased a wheel and tire warranty. You’re telling me tires went from excellent tread to none in 3,000 miles!?! Only thing anyone can say is “oh that’s possible”. And during the previous oil change no problems reported (have proof from the printouts, that is unless they don’t really check or do anything more about that later). I asked how was that possible when I haven’t driven the truck much (32k). During my last oil change and tire rotation I was told all 4 tires were no good and unsafe (2/32? or whatever) and my brake pads needed to be changed. My wife was pregnant at the time and didn’t drive much either. The Pathfinder I purchased new last year in January (didn’t really start driving till August due to the FACT I was out of work on workers comp). I’ve owned 3 Nissan’s (2 from here) and the one I purchased in 2018 will be the last. Everyone from the service advisors to salesmen to finance manager are crooks trying to sell you something (everyone on commission?). Changed names so many times I can’t keep up (same staff). 3 STRIKES!!! Avoid this place at all cost.
